Sao and the Glow of Memories

BIG UPDATE (April 12th, 2023)

I made some chunky changes to the prologue of the story.

The history lesson at the beginning, while crucial, has always felt like the weakest part of the story and is a huge barrier of entry to new readers. I’ve racked my brain on how to fix it for months now, and I finally figured it out after rereading the whole thing– delete the old prologue, and moved Sao’s flashback from Chapter 1 to its place.

If you’ve read the story up to this point, just know that nothing about the story has changed, other than that the removed history dump will just show up later in the story.

Oh, and you get some new panels! Here are the specific updates:

• Prologue: removed old prologue, moved flashback from chapter 1 in its place. Added 5 new panels on page 2 and 5
• Chapter 1, pg 18 and 19: Added 2 new panels to patch where the flashback was moved
• Minor edits to dialogue to match the new prologue.
• Changed Chapter 1’s title from “Runaways” to “Abduction.”

I think you’ll find this a much better opening to our adventure!
